Samsung Galaxy M52 5G could already be in the works as the phone has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark platform as noted by MySmartPrice. This comes just a week after the brand unveiled the Galaxy M32 in India as the successor to the Galaxy M31. The Galaxy M52 is expected to sit above the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G that launched in India in April. The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G carries the model number SM-M526BR and managed to score 776 points in the single-core test and 2877 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench.

Samsung Galaxy M52 specs on Geekbench
According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy M52 comes with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.80GHz codenamed Lahaina. The Geekbench source code revealed that the phone will ship with Adreno 642L GPU, suggesting that the Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC will power the Samsung Galaxy M52. Furthermore, the phone runs on Android 11 OS and 6GB RAM. However, there may be more RAM options at launch. That’s pretty much the specs of the Galaxy M52 5G from the Geekbench list. It was previously speculated that the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is a rebrand of the Galaxy F52 5G that was recently launched, but the latest Geekbench listing suggests that Samsung has upgraded the processor. It remains to be seen if the rest of the specs and design will remain the same.

To recall the Samsung Galaxy F52 5G specs, it has a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT display with a refresh rate of 1,080 × 2,408 and 120 Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. The phone is likely to run on the Android 11-based OneUI 3.1 custom skin on top. The handset has a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens and two 2MP sensors. it gets a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies. The handset has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
