Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 spotted on benchmarking website revealing key specs

NEW DELHI: consumer electronics giant Samsung is expected to launch its next generation of foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2 in August. The company is expected to launch the smartphones on August 3 at the next Galaxy Unpacked event.
A recent online report suggested that both smartphones will go on sale from August 27.
Now the upcoming foldable smartphone has appeared on the benchmark website Geekbench. The Geekbench list also revealed some of the key specs of the smartphone. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 passed by Geekbench in the US. The certification list shows that the smartphone comes with model number SM-F926U.
According to the list, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 would run the Android 11 operating system with the company’s own One UI layer on top. The smartphone is also expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with 12GB of RAM. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will come with S-Pen and 5G support. The device would also have an NFC chip.
The upcoming foldable smartphone is expected to be powered by a 4275mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. The smartphone is also said to have two Super AMOLED screens, including a 6.23-inch cover display and a 7.55-inch internal display.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is also said to have five cameras, which will consist of a triple rear camera consisting of three 12-megapixel cameras and a 16-megapixel selfie camera below the display. The smartphone is also said to come with a 10 MP shooter placed on the cover display of Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Recently, popular tipster Mukul Sharma of Stufflistings revealed that the yet-to-be-launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has received BIS certification. This means that Samsung will soon launch the smartphone in India. At the moment it is not clear when the company will launch the smartphone.
